Grammar Test

Hello and
Assalamualaikum w.b.t :)
So, a week before
mid-semester break, we had a Grammar test. Actually, it was so out of sudden
since our lecturer decided to do it on Friday but he held the test on Thursday
since there were some students going back to hometown. Okay, back to the topic.
So, my score um I guess it is not that bad? I managed to get A- which is I
found it quite surprising since Grammar is not
my cup of tea. Yeah, but still the others managed to get better result than
me. Well, congrats guys! You did a good job! Here, a photo of my paper.
Yeah. I got only 75%
but I don’t think my mark is low besides, quite impressing (just for me lol)
because like I said, Grammar is not my
cup of tea. So, I managed to get 75% for the first test (clap hands) . Even
my parents were surprised by that.
1. How did I get this kind of result?
To
be honest, I don’t even know how come I can get a full mark for the text 1. I
think it is just my luck? No, I’m kidding. I think the passage is quite easy
since the answers are all in Simple Present Tense. Besides, I understand the
text. But, I swear after the text 1, it was so challenging. I felt like crying
lol no, just kidding. Here a photo of the text 1.
2. What did I do wrong?
I
literally spoiled for the next four passages, I swear. But, between the four
passages, I spoiled on the text 5 which is I only got 8/22. I know right? Oh
well, it was my fault. I didn’t read the text carefully and I admit I made careless
mistakes, obviously. So, there is nothing I can say about it. It was very
careless mistakes. Here, some proof for you, lovely readers.
3. What have I learn through this test and
what am I going to do in the future?
Obviously,
I have to do lots and lots of practices after this. I have to be real careful
after this. I have to read the text over and over again so that I can fully
understand the text. I need to remember the rules, terms, etc of Grammar in
order to get better result for the next test, insyaAllah.
That’s
all for this entry. Big thanks to Mr. Adlan. Now, I know the differences
between all the tenses that we’ve learned. I hope I can get better result next
time. Thank you and till then, see you!

Hello and Assalamualaikum.
This is not my first time writing
an entry for a blog since I have a blog actually and I’m used to it. So,
basically this blog is for my class. I’m taking Foundation in TESL in UiTM,
Shah Alam and you can know a little bit about me from here.
My name is Intan Shakirah binti
Masri. You can called me either Intan or Shakirah. I was born on 31st December
1996 in Hospital Jitra, Kedah. My father is Masri Bin Muhamad and my mother is
Fauziah Binti Othman. I have a brother and three sisters and that makes me as the
youngest one in my siblings. We lived in Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor.
Before this, we stayed in Kedah and
I got my early educations in Tadika Abim and SK Jitra, Kedah before we moved in
to Kuala Lumpur due to my parents who got transferred to MARDI, Serdang. My
primary school back then was SK Serdang. I’m just a normal kid back then.
There’s nothing special about me during primary school. To sum up my primary
school experiences, I managed to get 3A’s for my UPSR which is not very good
for me and I started to wonder what will happen to me later on.
But then, my life changed. As soon
as I got into high school, there are so many things happened and I’m quite
shocked about it. The environment, the students, and teachers were so different
than in primary school so, it takes time for me to get used to it. For PMR, I
got 3A’s, again and I got into Catering class. It’s quite awesome to be in that
class because I don’t have to learn Add Maths, Physics, Biology, Chemistry.
Yeah, we just learn the basic Mathematics and Science. But, the bad point is,
students from other classes tend to look down on us since our PMR results are
not good as their results but whatever, I don’t really mind about it. At the
end of it, I managed to get 6A’s for SPM and I’m not expecting that.
Alhamdulillah.
And, here I am now, in UiTM Shah
Alam, taking Foundation in TESL. English is always my favourite subject since
primary school and because I want to improve my grammar and everything so, I
decided to write a story online and people read it and give positive feedback
which is quite good for me. And, I’m still doing it until now but I have to
slow it down for the time being due to classes and hectic life. I think that’s
all I can write to you and yeah, I know it’s boring. I'm sorry and till we meet
again, bye!
Sincerely,
Intan Shakirah binti Masri
